Global Medical Response. 2823 S Houston Levee Rd. Collierville, TN. 38017. (877) 244-4890. 2020 - present. I work with the 911 ambulance service contracted with Collierville Fire Department. We also worked with area hospitals and Collierville Police.
Methodist Hospital. 7691 Poplar Ave. Germantown, TN 38138. (901) 516-6000. 2107- 2020. Emergency Department Technician. I work with the night shift emergency department. In addition, I was also a member of the Disaster Response Team so I am familiar with the emergency operations plan and procedures
Baptist Ambulance. 2017-2020. Advanced EMT. Worked with interfacility transports throughout the region.
AMR Ambulance. 6423 Shelby View. Memphis, TN. 38134. (877) 244-4890. Advanced EMT. 2013-2107. I have worked both 911 and general transport to and from hospitals and nursing facilities.
Rural Metro Ambulance. 100 Crescent Dr. Collierville, TN. 38017. 901-327-1956. 2006-2013. Emergency Medical Technician, IV Therapy. Worked on both a Shelby County 911 ambulance and doing non-emergency EMS transports. In those years I have worked with a variety of trauma and medical emergencies.
AT&T Mobility. 5985 Stage Rd. Bartlett, TN 38134. 800-367-5690 ext 11186. 1998-2007. Sales/Customer Service. I worked over the phone and inside sales assisting customers with wireless products and service. I also assisted Spanish-speaking customers with sales and service.
Background: In my studies for my emergency management degree, I studied and did reports on several mass casualty incidents, emergency planning, recovery and the work of the public information officer. I also attended the Center for Domestic Preparedness for hospital emergency response team certification.
I have written over 100 articles in about 19 years as a freelance writer and photojournalist. I have also attended several journalism conferences over the years including The Image Deconstructed Workshop, Northern Short Course and Newspaper Technology Workshop.
